QUESTIONS ABOUT OUR QUALITY
HOW CAN I TELL IF A PRODUCT IS HIGH QUALITY?
There are a few simple signs you can check right away:
- Fabric: it feels compact and soft to the touch, not too thin or flimsy. You should not be able to see the body through it as soon as you stretch it slightly.
- Stitching: straight, regular, with no loose threads. Collar and sleeve edges should be reinforced.
- Fit: the garment falls well on the body, does not pull in awkward areas, and does not lose its shape immediately.
- Print / applications: they should not feel stiff like plastic, create hard creases, or look already cracked.
- Clear information: the brand should clearly explain materials, origin, and how to care for the garment.
When there is transparency, there is usually more quality too.
WHY SHOULD A MADE IN ITALY PRODUCT BE BETTER THAN ONE MADE IN OTHER COUNTRIES?
A product made in Italy is not automatically better just because it carries a Made in Italy label: the difference lies in how it is made and by whom.
In our case, choosing Made in Italy means working with workshops that have:
- a textile and garment-making tradition built over years of experience

- a close supply chain that we can follow, control, and improve at every stage

WHY DO KO SAMUI T-SHIRTS LAST OVER TIME?
KO SAMUI TAILORS T-shirts last over time because they are made from 100% long-staple cotton, which is stronger and more compact, helping to reduce pilling and maintain shape after many washes.
We use carefully selected fabric weights designed to prevent deformation, reinforced collars, and precise stitching, so the garment remains stable, does not lose its structure, and continues to fit well even after intensive use.
WHY CAN’T I USE A TUMBLE DRYER IF THE GARMENTS ARE HIGH QUALITY?
Our garments are made from long-staple cotton: a natural, compact, and durable fabric, but still sensitive to the high heat and intense friction of tumble drying.
A tumble dryer can:
- shorten the life of the fiber, as it becomes stressed and weakens more quickly
- cause shrinkage and deformation, such as twisting fabric or damaged collars
In addition, the printing techniques and applications we use are designed to be durable and comfortable when cared for correctly. Excessively high temperatures and aggressive cycles can harden them, crack them, make them fade, or reduce their elasticity over time.
For this reason, we recommend natural drying: it is the best way to make both the fabric, prints, and applications last longer.

Our fit is regular: it follows the body without being too slim or oversized.
If you are between two sizes, we usually recommend choosing the size you wear most often in the T-shirts you use every day.
