Made in Italy

Made in Padua.

Every Ko Samui garment is designed, cut, sewn and finished in our own workshop in Padua.

We have always produced in Italy. This year we took the next step: production now happens inside our own company, in Padua.

Bringing it in-house means we follow every garment from the first pattern to the last stitch. Fewer intermediaries, shorter times, and a quality standard we control directly, not one we have to trust.

From pattern to label

Pattern

Pattern

Every fit starts on paper in our studio. Proportions, drop shoulders and rib necks are drawn, tested and corrected before a single piece is cut.

Fabric & construction

Fabric & construction

Natural fibres, mainly cotton. T-shirts from 180 to 220 g/m², sweatshirts from 280 to 320 g/m². Reinforced collars and tight, regular stitching so every piece keeps its shape.

Finish

Finish

Each garment is checked by hand before it gets its label. Made in Italy is not just a word on the tag: it is where we work every day.

Our workshop

In-house

Our workshop

Our team works side by side with design. If a collar or a seam can be made better, we change it the same day.

This is the real advantage of making things ourselves: we never stop improving them.

Made to last

Timeless garments

Made to last

We choose fabrics for how they age, not just for how they feel on the first day. Natural fibres and stable colours keep their shape and structure wash after wash.

Garments made to be worn for years, not for a season.

QUESTIONS ABOUT OUR QUALITY

HOW CAN I TELL IF A PRODUCT IS HIGH QUALITY?

There are a few simple signs you can check right away:

  • Fabric: it feels compact and soft to the touch, not too thin or flimsy. You should not be able to see the body through it as soon as you stretch it slightly.
  • Stitching: straight, regular, with no loose threads. Collar and sleeve edges should be reinforced.
  • Fit: the garment falls well on the body, does not pull in awkward areas, and does not lose its shape immediately.
  • Print / applications: they should not feel stiff like plastic, create hard creases, or look already cracked.
  • Clear information: the brand should clearly explain materials, origin, and how to care for the garment.

When there is transparency, there is usually more quality too.

WHY DO KO SAMUI T-SHIRTS LAST OVER TIME?

KO SAMUI TAILORS T-shirts last over time because they are made from 100% long-staple cotton, which is stronger and more compact, helping to reduce pilling and maintain shape after many washes.

We use carefully selected fabric weights designed to prevent deformation, reinforced collars, and precise stitching, so the garment remains stable, does not lose its structure, and continues to fit well even after intensive use.

WHY CAN’T I USE A TUMBLE DRYER IF THE GARMENTS ARE HIGH QUALITY?

Our garments are made from long-staple cotton: a natural, compact, and durable fabric, but still sensitive to the high heat and intense friction of tumble drying.

A tumble dryer can:

  • shorten the life of the fiber, as it becomes stressed and weakens more quickly
  • cause shrinkage and deformation, such as twisting fabric or damaged collars

In addition, the printing techniques and applications we use are designed to be durable and comfortable when cared for correctly. Excessively high temperatures and aggressive cycles can harden them, crack them, make them fade, or reduce their elasticity over time.

For this reason, we recommend natural drying: it is the best way to make both the fabric, prints, and applications last longer.

WHY DO YOUR T-SHIRTS COST MORE THAN OTHERS?

You are not just paying for a print, but for better fabrics, Italian production, and long-lasting quality.

We chose to go against fast fashion: instead of many low-cost products that wear out quickly, we believe in buying one quality piece you can wear for years.

Fewer disposable garments, less waste, and more value in what you wear every day.

WHAT FIT DO KO SAMUI GARMENTS HAVE?

Our fit is regular: it follows the body without being too slim or oversized.

If you are between two sizes, we usually recommend choosing the size you wear most often in the T-shirts you use every day.

On each product page, we always specify if a garment has a closer or more relaxed fit, so you can choose with greater confidence.
